“I had always been a very active child growing up, but as time goes by the family grows and work gets busier, as always mothers forget about them selves. 

For so long I was feeling wrong in so many ways inside and out. So as it was coming up to my 38th birthday, and I knew it was time to do something about it, I was a nervous wreak walking into Crossfit CT at that time and now there is no looking back. 

This was the beginning of a long journey I started with my CT Fitness family, who supported me each and every day I turned up. This was my opportunity to improve my self inside and out building my confidence with my new fitness crew, who gave me the motivation I needed to power on. As I watched others doing those, “dumb” pull ups and lifting the heaviest of weights, no way did I ever think I would be any where near doing what these people could do. It’s been a long frustrating journey but I never thought in a million years, I would feel as strong and happy to be where I am now 2 years on. 

Fitness is one of the reasons I head to CT Fitness every day, the great friends and family I have made is another one, “oh, the laughs we have”. CT Fitness is the place where in my mind, body and soul I feel my strongest, this place has made me a better person for my self and my family. So it’s a win, win, thank you so much CT Fitness".

“When I first started CrossFit on the first week it opened, I wasn’t sure if it was something I’d be doing on a regular basis, but I was 150kg+ and I was having small health problems that could’ve gotten worse if I didn’t do anything about myself. 

I’ve lost over 40kg and still counting during my time at CT Fitness, also my strength, cardio, endurance and willpower have gone through the roof as well! 

The environment is warm and has such a loving atmosphere with great people. We all come from different walks of life but we come together and put in the hard work together, and leaving the gym tired but relieved and satisfied from our workouts.

“I have been exercising for the last 40+ years. I like to exercise regularly as I enjoy the benefits it brings.

Just because you are over 60, doesn’t mean you can’t exercise.

When Tony first opened CT Fitness, I went along to see if I was able to handle the Crossfit exercise program.

The staff were very helpful and supportive and there was a suitable workout for anyone of any fitness level.

Since I joined, I have been able to lift weights I previously never thought possible!

It’s the support from Tony’s awesome staff, especially Kylie, and the gym mates who push me through the reps, even when I feel like giving up. 

Some days I don’t feel like going, but I say to myself: “Get up, get dressed, and get going!” and at the end of a workout I am relieved that I made the effort.
